Common Fault Codes

Diagnostic references for identifying potential issues with your appliance.

FE37

Overheating Protection

The overheating protection has switched off the cooktop. Let the cooktop cool down. As soon as the cooktop has cooled down, it should respond again. This feature protects the appliance from damage due to excessive heat.

FE91

Incorrect Electrical Connection

The electrical connection is incorrect - the voltage the cooktop is receiving is either too high or too low. Have a licensed technician check the electrical connection to ensure proper voltage supply.

FE47

Fan Blocked

The fan on the underside of the cooktop is blocked. Check to make sure it's not being blocked by, for example, a product in the drawer or the cupboard under your cooktop. Ensure proper ventilation clearance.

Err + 47/48/49

Fan Error

The timer display alternates between Err and 47, 48, or 49, which means the fan is blocked. Check the fan underneath the cooktop for stuck items or obstructions preventing proper operation.

FE44

System Overheating

Overheating protection has been activated. The cooktop automatically turns off as a precautionary measure. Wait a few minutes for the cooktop to cool down before turning it back on.

Flashing Power Level

No Pan or Unsuitable Pan

Power levels 1 through 9 are flashing. This indicates there's no pan on top of the cooking zone, or that the pan isn't suitable for induction. Use a pan with a larger diameter - the cooktop won't register a pan smaller than the cooking zone.

FE92/FE93 /FE94

Voltage Problem

The voltage supply to the cooktop is incorrect. These codes indicate that the electrical connection has been made incorrectly. Requires inspection and adjustment of electrical connection by a professional.
