Door

Door Wasn't Opened

The "Door" message appears when the "Start" button is pressed if the door was not opened in the 20 minutes prior. This protects against operating without a load, which may damage the appliance. Open door briefly.

0--o

Child Lock Activated

The symbol "0--o" indicates that the child safety lock is activated. To deactivate, refer to the operating instructions. Usually requires pressing and holding a specific button for 5 seconds.

Door Not Closed

Program Won't Start

The cooking program cannot start because the microwave door is not properly closed. Ensure the door is fully closed and the latch is working correctly.

System Lock Activated

System Locked

The system lock is activated, preventing accidental appliance startup. Deactivate the system lock according to your model's operating instructions.

Lighting Fault

Oven Light Not Working

The microwave oven lighting is defective. The light doesn't turn on during operation. The lamp must be replaced. Contact Miele Technical Service for lamp replacement.

Fan Runs After Shutdown

Cooling Fan Active

This is not a fault. The cooling fan continues to run for a short time after the microwave is switched off to dissipate moisture from the interior and prevent it settling on the control panel.

No Button Response

Appliance Not Plugged In

The appliance is not connected to the power supply or the circuit breaker has tripped. Check if the plug is properly inserted in the socket. Check the circuit breaker in the electrical panel.
