Heat-related problem. Switch off the coffee machine using the On/Off button and allow it to cool down for 1 hour. Room temperature must be above 60°F (15°C). If fault persists, contact service.

Manual cleaning of the brew unit is necessary. Remove the brew unit and rinse under running water without using cleaning agent. Ensure the coffee ejector is in the correct position.
The brew unit is unable to move into its start position. Remove and clean the brew unit under running water. Don't reinstall the unit, close the door and switch on machine to initialize the drive.
A fault has been detected in the brewing system. Switch off the coffee machine and disconnect from power for 2 minutes. Reconnect and try to start. If error persists, contact Miele Service.
